The Business Profile was set up once and forgotten
Half the services missing, no photos since the launch, hours wrong for the holiday. Google reads an inactive profile as a business that might not be open.
When someone in Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale or West Palm Beach searches for what you do, Google shows three businesses on the map before anything else. Local SEO is the work that puts you in those three and keeps you there: a complete Business Profile, steady reviews, listings that agree with each other, and a page for every service and city you actually serve. We run it in house, from Boca Raton, and our own profile is one of the three for our own search.
UltraWeb Labs is a local SEO company in Boca Raton, Florida. Local SEO is the work that gets a business into the three map results and the page-one listings for searches like "roofer near me" or "immigration attorney Boca Raton": a complete, active Google Business Profile, a steady flow of reviews, business listings that match to the letter, and one real page for each service and each city you serve. Our organic plans start at $549 a month and are run by our own team; we check the map results from the searcher's city, not from an office in another state, and we report positions from real searches. Our own Business Profile holds one of the three map spots for "boca raton web design".
The three map spots decide who gets the call. These are the four reasons a good business is not in them.
Half the services missing, no photos since the launch, hours wrong for the holiday. Google reads an inactive profile as a business that might not be open.
Twelve reviews in 2023, two since. The businesses above you are getting three a month, and Google notices the pace as much as the total.
An old suite number on Yelp, a different phone on the Chamber site, the legal name on one directory and the brand name on another. Each mismatch is a reason for Google to trust the profile a little less.
A homepage that lists every city you serve in a sentence does not rank in any of them. Google wants a real page for the service in the city, with proof you work there.
Local search is not mysterious. For any service in any city, Google fills the three map spots using a short list: how complete and active the Business Profile is, how many reviews you have and how fast they arrive, how close you are to the searcher, whether your listings around the web agree, and whether your site has a real page for that service in that city. Everything else is noise.
Most agencies sell the noise. A monthly blog post about nothing, a report of impressions, a "citation package" bought once. We do the short list, every month, and we measure it the way a customer would: by searching from the city, on a phone, and seeing who shows up.
We are our own test case. UltraWeb Labs holds one of the three map spots in Boca Raton for the search we care about most, and we got there with the same routine we run for clients.
The profile is the map listing. We complete every field, pick the categories that match how people search, load real photos, publish updates, answer questions and reviews, and watch for the edits Google and the public make to it. An active profile is the single biggest map-ranking lever a business controls.
Google weighs pace and recency, not just the total. We set up an ask that fits your business, a text after the job, a link at checkout, a card with the invoice, and reply to every review so the profile reads as a business that is paying attention.
Your name, address and phone number are checked across the directories and data providers Google draws from, corrected where they disagree, and monitored so an old address does not creep back in.
A real page for each service in each city you serve, written with local proof: a project there, a review from there, the neighborhoods you work in. We build them only where you actually work, because Google's own guidelines treat city pages with nothing local on them as spam.
Your site tells Google who you are, where you are and what you do in the structured form it reads directly: LocalBusiness or the specific type, service areas, hours, and the same name, address and phone as the profile.
A position seen from an office in another state is not your position. We check the map and organic results from the searcher's city and report what a customer there actually sees, next to Search Console clicks.
Calls, direction requests and form submissions are tracked so the monthly report answers the only question that matters: did more customers reach you.
Fast on a phone, indexable, no broken pages, a working contact form. Local SEO on a slow or broken site is wasted; we fix the floor first.
Free 30-minute strategy call. We audit your current state, flag the 3–5 highest-ROI fixes, and quote honestly.
Book a strategy callWe search your services from your city on a phone, record who holds the three spots and why, and audit your profile, reviews, listings and pages against them.
The Business Profile is completed and activated; every listing that disagrees is corrected.
We set up the ask, the timing and the replies, and teach your team the one habit that keeps reviews coming.
One service page per city you actually serve, each with real local proof, linked from the profile and the site.
Positions from your city, clicks, calls and leads in one report; the next month's work chosen from what moved.
Local SEO is sold by everyone. This is what the engagement looks like in practice.
Organic plans start at $549 a month. The right level depends on how many services and cities you compete in and how far behind the profile and listings are today. A single-location business with a clean profile needs less than a contractor chasing three counties.
Timeline, honestly: profile and listing fixes show on the map within weeks; review pace and new city pages take three to six months to change who holds the three spots in competitive markets. We tell you where you stand from the first audit, and we report from real searches, so you never have to take our word for it.
