What works for practices, DSOs, med-spas.

SERVICES FOR MEDICAL + DENTAL

Medical and dental marketing is bound by compliance (HIPAA-adjacent intake handling, FDA-regulated advertising language for certain specialties, state-Board rules for medical practice). We’ve worked with practices through these constraints — here’s what we focus on.

01

Web Design — patient-acquisition focus

For medical + dental practices, the website’s job is twofold: convert new-patient searches and provide a self-service portal for existing patients (forms, payment, FAQ). We design for both flows separately. New-patient conversion architecture + existing-patient utility get the design treatment they each deserve.

Local SEO + GBP for medical search

Most medical / dental searches are high-intent local (“dentist near me,” “dermatologist Boca Raton”). We build the full local search program: Google Business Profile work, review velocity, citation building, and the on-page SEO that makes you rank for the procedure + city combinations buyers actually search. Packages from $549/mo.

Google Ads with patient-acquisition math

Patient lifetime value for medical + dental is typically $1,500–$15,000+ depending on specialty. That supports much higher cost-per-click than most local service categories. We optimize for cost-per-new-patient, not cost-per-click. $600/mo management + ad spend.

Reputation + review programs

Reviews drive conversion AND search rankings for medical + dental more than most categories — patients evaluate providers on review count, star rating, and recency. We build review-velocity programs that follow up with patients post-visit through channels HIPAA permits, respond professionally to negative reviews, and surface positive reviews across your site. Included in SEO retainers from $549/mo.

HOW WE THINK ABOUT MEDICAL + DENTAL MARKETING

High intent, high value, heavily compliance-bound.

Medical + dental marketing operates under different rules than other industries. HIPAA constraints affect how patient inquiries can be handled in your CRM, what data can be collected through online forms, and how you can communicate with existing patients. FDA rules affect what dermatology, plastic surgery, and certain specialty practices can claim in advertising. State medical and dental Board rules add another layer of compliance for specific languages.

We work within those constraints rather than around them. Forms include HIPAA-compliant intake flows where the practice requires it. Ad copy stays inside FDA + state-Board language rules. Email + text marketing uses HIPAA-aware platforms. We’ll add the appropriate disclaimer language and won’t draft copy that violates regulatory rules — final compliance review still sits with your practice administrator.

Outside of compliance, the marketing patterns are favorable. Patient lifetime values are high, search intent is high, the Google Maps 3-pack drives most local search traffic, and reviews carry outsized weight in patient evaluation. The math typically works in even competitive markets.

Questions people ask us

Are you HIPAA-compliant?
We follow HIPAA-aware practices: forms can be configured to avoid collecting protected health information (PHI), data routing can go to HIPAA-compliant CRMs (HubSpot Healthcare, Salesforce Health Cloud, etc.), and we recommend HIPAA-compliant email + text platforms. We are NOT a HIPAA-covered entity ourselves and we won’t sign Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) directly — for that you need a healthcare-specialty marketing agency. We work alongside your existing compliance + technology stack.
Can you handle the FDA / state-Board advertising rules?
We follow the rules and draft copy that stays inside them. Final compliance review still sits with your practice administrator — they know your specific state-Board rules, your specialty’s FDA-relevant constraints, and any prior consent decrees or compliance history that affects what you can say. We’ll work alongside your compliance team.
Do you do separate landing pages per procedure / specialty?
Yes. For multi-procedure practices (general dentistry + cosmetic + implants, or dermatology + cosmetic + medical aesthetics), we typically build a separate landing page per procedure / specialty. Each page targets the specific keyword cluster for that procedure, has its own SEO + ads, and tracks its own conversions. Standard scope on Growth and Domination tiers.
What about review platforms beyond Google (Healthgrades, Vitals, Zocdoc)?
We maintain a presence on the major healthcare-specialty review platforms relevant to your practice. Strategy is to focus on the platforms your patients actually use to evaluate providers (which varies by specialty) rather than trying to win on every platform. For most practices, Google + Healthgrades + Vitals is the right combination.
Do you handle DSO / multi-location dental practices?
Yes. Multi-location dental + medical (5+ locations) is a specific marketing pattern: centralized brand site + per-location pages with locally-unique content, centralized GBP program, conversion architecture that routes to the right location. We’ve handled this kind of architecture before.
How long until I see new patient appointments from SEO?
First measurable ranking movement: 6–10 weeks. First meaningful new-patient volume: typically 90–180 days depending on specialty competitiveness. Highly competitive medical specialties in Palm Beach County (dermatology, cosmetic dentistry, plastic surgery) are on the longer end. Less competitive specialties or markets compound faster.
